Fall elections for GPAC are right around the corner. As the student government body of LBJ, GPAC is here to serve, to advocate, and to take action for you. An integral part of being an LBJ student is getting involved. Here’s your chance to give (back) and to serve your LBJ Community. Next week, September 2 – September 5, we are receiving nominations to serve on the Executive Committee and standing committees. (Application Submissions for Appointed positions outside of GPAC will commence after general elections)
We are looking for representation from our MGPS, MPAff and PhD programs. Whether you are a first-year, second-year, third-year or PhD student, there are opportunities to serve in various capacities. If you are interested in running or would like to nominate someone else for a position in GPAC, please visit the student mailroom on the first floor and write your name or your nominee’s name and contact email on the respective sign-up sheets. All nominees for elected positions will be contacted and will have the opportunity to accept or decline the nomination before elections begin on September 10. Once you accept the nomination, please submit a picture, a brief bio, and a paragraph on why you want to serve on GPAC/the committee you’re running for to email@example.com.
